The Organization for the Development and Renovation of Mines and Mining Industries of Iran, known as IMIDRO, is a state-owned holding company active in the Iranian mining sector. IMIDRO has eight prominent companies and 55 operating companies in steel, aluminum, copper, cement, and minerals.
Starting to implement knowledge management and creating the initial platform for recording and maintaining experiences and developing it to other subsidiaries conveys the managers' insight and foresight of this extensive collection. Accordingly, with the cooperation of MTA who are fully acquainted with this field due to the implementation of similar companies in this industry, a Knowledge Management Total Solution (KMTS) has begun, and its implementation steps are being implemented. To date, MTAShare as this company's KM software has been a great benchmark for other corporations.
