The project to establish a comprehensive knowledge management system in Hormozgan South Steel Company began in Farvardin 1403 and was implemented in specific phases. Initially, a formal kick-off meeting was held with the presence of senior managers and the project implementation team was formed. After assessing the current state of organizational knowledge in key processes of production, maintenance, and support, and analyzing the gaps, training of employees was carried out. Finally, after designing and implementing the project knowledge management procedure for an operational overhaul; more than 40 lessons learned were documented and a booklet of expert experiences was compiled as an operational reference and organizational learning.
