Description of specialized activities in the design and implementation of the knowledge management system
In 1404, at the request of Sina Marine and Port Services Development Company, the knowledge management project was initiated with the aim of reducing the risk of people leaving due to retirement or relocation.
In this project, in order to identify the optimal path for the establishment of knowledge management, a maturity assessment was carried out based on an international model, and a SWOT matrix was developed based on interviews conducted with senior managers of the organization.
Since this company has various branches in the country's ports, it doubles the importance of creating an integrated knowledge network. Accordingly, by being present in ports such as Shahid Rajaee, Bushehr, etc., knowledge areas were identified. Since geographical diversity prevents the central headquarters from covering all activities, the identification of knowledge facilitators in each branch and separately for executive units was put on the agenda. At the same time, the installation and deployment of the knowledge management system also proceeded in parallel so that during the training workshops, people could become familiar with the processes defined in the system and work operationally. The implementation of selected tools was carried out in accordance with the key requirements of the organization and also emphasized the promotion of culture-building items with themes regarding the importance and personal and organizational benefits of knowledge management in this project.
